Ian Russell

I have been a full-time professional science communicator for over forty years, specialising in marine biology, public aquariums, hands-on science centres, interactive science exhibits and educational science shows. I am known as one of the very earliest pioneers of hands-on science centres in the UK and am still very active as a designer and producer of hands-on exhibits for clients all over the world. Since 2012 I have been entertaining with bubbles at outdoor events, parties and weddings. I like to wear a bow tie and straw 'boater' hat where possible. My wind-powered Bubble Mill invention plays a significant part at events where there is any kind of breeze and enough space available for the huge volume of bubbles it continuously produces.
