About Sabina
Hello, I’m Saby — although everyone calls me Bimbi. I am half Italian, half Polish, born in Stockholm (Sweden), with an Italian accent when I speak Spanish and a touch of Australian when I speak English.
The truth is… I have never really known how to answer the question: “Where are you from?” I have never felt rooted in just one place. I have lived in different countries, calling each new destination “home” the moment I landed — yet always with the feeling of being somewhere in between.
In my twenties, I started travelling, and my first stop was Ibiza, back in the year 2000. Later came London, where I learned English and lived for seven years. In 2007, I arrived in Australia — a country that deeply shaped me through its nature, its people, and the inspiration I found working with children. I studied Early Childhood Education at university and spent years working in childcare centres, eventually becoming an Australian citizen in 2015.
Today, at 44, life has brought me back to Ibiza — the place where it all began. Life is like that… full of unexpected turns that lead us back to what truly matters, to who we really are.
I firmly believe that change — even the most challenging kind — can be an opportunity for transformation. Every transition carries a seed of magic.
