Culture and social anthropologist, active as a performance artist since 2014; known as "MissBubblebliss"
The beauty of soap bubbles has fascinated her since childhood. Since 2014, she has been researching, performing, photographing, and filming soap bubble creatures. Performances, Workshops and Exhibitions in Europa, Asia and the USA. Since 2018, she regularly participates in international soap bubble art conventions to share and expand her knowledge and skills. It was a life-changing occassion to meet and become a member of this tribe of bubbleologists. In addition to the technical aspect, she aims to tell stories with soap. Since 2019, she has also been working increasingly at the intersection of science and art. In 2020/21, due to limited performance opportunities, there was a shift in focus towards macrostudies of soap bubbles and films ("Flying high & diving deep"). MissBubblebliss loves to make sound visible on soapfilm (cymatics) . In general, she has a passion to creating immersive experiences and has a hands on approach.
She is keen on experimenting and working with different art forms: Performances, Visual art, Augmented reality - always with Soap. Collaborating with diverse artists and scientists and hence spreading and growing her bubble fascination. She makes many of her own props.
MissBubblebliss is an advocate for play and her mission is to share bubblebliss around the globe. Original from Austria, she is currently based in South-East-Asia and Austria, always ready to follow the call for bubbles.
